Changhai provides fluid bed drying systems for powders, granules, crystals, and particle materials that require efficient heat and mass transfer. By suspending the material in an upward air stream, fluid bed dryers support uniform drying, cooling, and post-processing for food, chemical, agricultural, and nutraceutical applications.

Main Fluid-Bed Dryer Series
Vibration-assisted continuous conveying for drying or cooling powders, granules and crystals.
The drier is suitability in chemical industry, pharmaceutical, food, plastic, oil, slag, salt sugar and so on, for drying, cooling and wetting.
Horizontal fluid-bed processing with air filtration, heating and selectable dust-collection arrangements.
Boiling drier is also called as fluidize-bed. It consists of air filter, heater, fluidized-bed main machine, feeder, cyclone seperator, cloth bag duster, high-pressure centrifuge fan and operation table. Because the properties of raw material exist difference, when equip the dust removing equipment, it should consider the practical need. It can select cyclone seperator and cloth bag duster at the same time or one of them. In genral speaking, it needs to select cyclone seperator only for raw material that is large in specific gravity and cloth bag duster for powder and small granule raw materials that is light in gravity. Meanwhile there is air feeding device and belt conveyor for sele tion.
Sealed negative-pressure batch drying with agitation for wet granules, powders and selected sticky materials.
Vertical batch drying for suitable granules and powders.
The machine is suitable for drying powder or granule. In general, its speed is 10-20 times of common oven.
Fluid Bed Drying Process Overview

For vibrating fluid bed dryers, controlled vibration helps material move forward continuously and improves stability for certain granules or crystals. Depending on the process, the system can include drying, cooling, dust collection, and product discharge sections.
Typical materials include citric acid, monosodium glutamate, borax, ammonium sulfate, compound fertilizer, sugar, salt, seeds, soybean meal, distillers' grains, pharmaceutical granules, health-food granules, feed, plastic resin and mineral products.
Particle size, bulk density, initial and final moisture, stickiness, heat sensitivity, friability, dust generation and required capacity determine the appropriate model and operating conditions.

Fluid-Bed Dryer FAQ
Q: What materials are suitable for fluid-bed drying?
A: Powders, wet granules, crystals and particulate materials that maintain stable fluidization without excessive sticking or agglomeration are suitable candidates.
Q: How do GZQ/ZLG, XF and GFG differ?
A: GZQ/ZLG provides vibration-assisted continuous drying or cooling; XF provides horizontal continuous fluid-bed drying; GFG provides sealed negative-pressure batch drying.
Q: Are all fluid-bed dryers continuous?
A: No. Vibrating and horizontal systems can operate continuously, while GFG and FG operate as batch dryers in vertical vessels.
Q: Can a fluid-bed dryer provide cooling?
A: Yes. Vibrating fluid-bed lines can combine drying and cooling for suitable products.
Q: What data is required for model selection?
A: Provide the material, particle-size range, bulk density, initial and target moisture, capacity, heat sensitivity, stickiness, dust characteristics, heat source and cooling duty.
